Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration A Huge Success!

The Day Began with a Catholic Mass at 8:00am at St. Patrick's Church on Radcliffe Street, Down Town Charleston. The Parade began at 10:00 am. At 11:30 am the South Carolina Irish Historical Society and the mayor's office raised the Irish flag over City Hall. A traditional lunch of corned beef and cabbage followed at the council hall where spectacular entertainment was provided by two pipe bands and the Drake School of Irish Dance. 241 lunches were searved and beverages were enjoyed many.

Thank you to the more than twenty Knight Volunteers serving and preparing lunch for the day and to the members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians who assisted in the setting up and decoration of the hall.
