Labor Day Picnic - August 31, 2008
This year's picnic at James Island County Park was great! We all had a fun time together. There never seems to be enough time for family and friends to get together. Our friends from Pope John the XXIII Council 6250 Officers Installation at Nativity Church, James Island were able to join us. We're truly blessed to have this time together. Everyone enjoyed the fun and games. Master Griller AL Stiles kept the burgers and dogs in supply and believe me there were plenty for every one.

This race, the 31st Annual running, which honored our own Freddy McMahon, the 1st race director, set not only an attendance record but the winning male time broke the old record by an astounding 4 seconds. This Council thanks most graciously Peter Shahid, the Race Committee and volunteers that worked so hard to make this year's race such a success.
