| Grand Knight's Report
Brothers,
It is that the time of the year for our annual Labor Day Picnic. The picnic this year will be Sunday, September 6 starting around 12 noon at the Wando Shelter at James Island County Park. The picnic is a wonderful time to spend with your fellow brothers and an excellent opportunity to invite a friend who might be interested in becoming a knight. We will be cooking hot dogs and burgers and as always there will be a
cold keg on tap. If you have any questions please call Joseph DeLeon at 709-9924. Congratulations to the Knight of the Month Al Stiles. Al has done a wonderful job over the past two years as Grand Knight and the honor is well deserved. The Family of the Month for August is Lewis Moore Family. The Moore family cooked the delicious Rosary dinner for the month of July. I encourage each brother to try and make our monthly meetings and the Labor Day Picnic. If you need assistance getting to the either, please call me and I will make sure you have transportation to the events. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Grand Knight and I am looking forward to many exciting programs and events we have planned for this year! God Bless, Jeremy Billew

Protect the Family
From the Field Agent: The objective of the offensive line in football is to protect the quarterback. To do this, the line must be strong and reliable. Your family must also be protected. The one thing that will protect them the best is strong and reliable life insurance. With life insurance, your family will be protected from financial disaster in the event of your death. They can continue to live as you would want them to live. And they would have you to thank for it. Score a touchdown for your family and buy life
insurance. Call us today for an appointment.Steve Dunlap Field Agent 843-569-1954 Stephen.dunlap@kofc.org Steve Kramp Field Agent Knights of Columbus 843-771-2437

| Thank you to all of you who have taken part in our paperless newsletter program. We now have almost 80 participants. One of the benefits of coming to the website for the news letter is to find more content and interest here than in the past production of the printed news letter. We are working hard at making a transition to continually better our site with new content and will have more to publish very soon. While we still are sending out printed mailings to those who would prefer them for one reason or another, it is important that all of our members to realize that in no way do we wish to leave any one behind because of technology. We will continue to send printed news letters as long as we have members that want them. Please fill out this form to receive email notifications of website and newsletter updates. If you are aware of any Brother Knight or widow who still would like to receive a printed version, please send an email to: Paul Setti
